He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Phillips and Gladys Morrison Phillips; and his siblings, Talmage Phillips and Evelyn Phillips Clayton. He is survived by: his children, Lois Snider of Hannibal, Gene Phillips (Iris) of Luray and Keith Phillips (Connie) of Kahoka, Missouri; his grandchildren, David Snider (Jodi) of Kahoka, Leigh Hayden (Clay) of Hannibal, Michelle Boatman (Danial) of Dardenne Prarie, Wynnette Sherrill (Bob) of Jackson, Calesse McKinney (Brent) of Kahoka, Nicole Hufty (Zac) of Houston, Christy Gottman (Josh) of Trenton, Brian Phillips (Kassie) of Kahoka, Michael Phillips (Jillian) of Kahoka, Emily Reyes (Cristian) of Kansas City and Cyrus Phillips (Karlee) of Kahoka, Missouri.; and his sisters, Loreta Colter of Pacific and Sharon Samples (Gay) of Danville, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
