She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard and Alberta Gardner (Parsons); her husband Raymond Lee Mathies; her son Raymond; her in-laws, Raymond and Eloise Mathies (Ball); her grandson Aaron Mathies; her siblings, Donald, William "Bill" Gardner, Sharon Bergman and Marilyn Boice; her brothers-in-law, Michael Shaw, Herb Doty, Everett Boice and Gene Yates; and her nieces and nephews, Rob Doty, Jim Gardner, Eric Doty, Tony Bergman, Randy Yates, Gina Wagner and Carol Gardner.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Mathies of Kahoka, MO., Steve Mathies of Kahoka, MO. and Doug Mathies (Sherry) of Atlanta Beach, FL.; her granddaughter Jamie Craig (Kenneth) of Atlanta Beach, FL.; her great grandchildren, Katelyn and Kylie Craig of Atlanta Beach, FL.; her sisters, JoAnne Shaw of Kahoka, MO. and Willa Doty of Kahoka, MO.; her siblings-in-law, Paula Gardner of Jacksonville, FL. and Dennis Bergman (Zarina) of Kahoka, MO.; and her cousin Susie Boggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relative and friends.
