He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover William and Mildred Gladys Meadows (Henson). He is survived by: his wife Sandy Meadows; his son Christopher Gilman of Maryville; his sister Mary Jane Wilson (Van) of Neosho; his nieces, Anne Windsor (Lance) of Joplin, Amy Jones (Johnnie) of Neosho and Becky Nicholson (Brian) of Joplin; his stepfather-in-law Kenneth Burns of Colorado Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Peterson (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, Dennis Peterson-Sloan (Chad) of Joplin, Cathy Miller (Warren) of Colorado Springs, CO and Candy Furnish (Steve) of Peyton, CO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; and many more close family members and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Redings Mill Fire Protection District or to South Joplin Christian Church and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
