With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Layton Johnson (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Johnson and Opal Johnson; and his siblings, Ursula Grider, Lee Warren Johnson and ZaDean Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta A. Johnson of Tulsa, OK; his children, Carol Siling of Tulsa, OK, Susan Caves (Steve) of Broken Arrow, OK, Kenneth Johnson (Allie) of Stillwater, OK and Stanley Johnson (Theresa) of Rogers, AR; his grandchildren, Stacy Jones (Jason), Jennifer Jacobs, Steven Jason Caves (Tammie), Anthony Caves (Christy), Jeffrey Phillips, Clint Phillips (Kerissa), Chelsea Jenkins (Justin), Victoria Whittaker (Andy), Emily Gundler (Christopher), Aubrey Groter and Ashley Groter; and his sons, Ken and Stan. He is also survived by other loving extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the 26th & Connecticut Church of Christ, Joplin, MO.
