She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Skaggs and Emma Skaggs (Hardesty); and her brother Buddy Skaggs. She is survived by: her husband Robert Adams of Joplin; and her children, Brad Adams (Marian) of Neosho and Donna Calcote (Bill) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Byers Avenue Methodist Church and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
