With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Farmer (Joplin, Missouri), born in Seneca, Missouri, who passed away on August 17, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy W. Farmer and Nellie Farmer (Brown); his former wife Stella R. Farmer; his siblings, Tommy W. Farmer, Jr., Mike Farmer and Helen Whaley; his grandson Joel Farmer; and his brothers-in-law, Rev. Henry Whaley and Rev. Bobby Chandler.
He is survived by: his spouse Letretha Farmer (Sampson) of Racine; his children, Eddie Farmer (Debbie) of Joplin, Joyce Gonzalez (Jose) of Southwest City, Donna Price of Noel and Rhonda Mitchell (Ron Mitchell) of Parsons, Kansas; his siblings, Patsy Chandler, Leonard Farmer (Beverly) and Peggy Ritter; and his sister-in-law Beulah Farmer. He is also survived by several great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
