He is survived by: his wife Juanita Rose (Atkinson) of Carthage; his children, Ty Rose of Joplin, MO, Gayla Jarrett (Herb) of Baxter Springs, KS, Justin Rose (Lexi) of Hooker, OK and Meridith Johnson (Mike) of Joplin, MO.; his grandchildren, Holly, Chris Rhodes, Clifton, Addie Jarrett, Shaynee Gamble, Johnny Johnson, Keenan Cooper, Loryn Rose and Jenna Rose; his siblings, Norma Jean Compton (Bobby), Lois Ring, Carl Lee Rose (Darlene) and Allan Rose (Betty); and his sister-in-law Pauline Rose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
