Virginia Leffen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Leffen of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Leffen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Beecham and Christine Beecham (Kirk); her husbands, Don Hall, Alfred "Herb" Overman and William "Bill" Leffen; her daughter Kristy Overman; and her siblings, Harry "Bud" Beecham, Jr., John Holly Beecham, Lois Westervelt and Lorine Groves.
She is survived by: her sons, Monty Overman (Jill) of Columbus, Scotty Overman (Lisa) of Girard and Rocky Overman (Pam) of Columbus, Kansas; her grandchildren, Monica Avent, Zack Overman, Morgan Ponsetti, Macaji Overman, Libby McFarland, Sam Overman, Addi Jo Franklin, Maddy Foster, Kate Bole, Kip Overman and Diggs Overman; and her sisters, Haroldean "Sissy" Massengill of Napa Valley and Sue Powell of Pittsburg, Kansas. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorials are being directed to either, Columbus Community Foundation or the Bill and Virginia Leffen Center for Autism.
