It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Bennett (Joplin, Missouri), born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on November 3, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Danhakl (Moss) and Virgil McLain; and her brother Ralph Danhakl. She is survived by: her spouse John D. Bennett; her brother Albert Danhakl; her children, Allisa Bennett and Larry Bennett; her niece Debbie Jaynes; her grandsons, Tennessee John Lee Gurevitch and Gabriel Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Oliver Bennett and Elliott Bennett.
Virginia's generous spirit continued through the donation of her body to the KU School of Medicine with arrangements handled by Parker Mortuary.
