She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schick and Clara Schick (Martens); her husband David Houdyshell; her son Ronald Houdyshell; her grandson Jeremy King; and her great great grandchild Katy Lynn Waddle.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Starchman (Pete) of Joplin and Tim Houdyshell (Becky) of Joplin; her brother Gary Schick (Sue) of Joplin; and her friend Vida Martinez (Frank). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-great grandchildren.
