Violet Belden Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Belden of Joplin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Violet Belden to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Truth Sechler and Sarah "Edith" Apperson Sechler; her husband Ernest Edward Belden; and her brothers, Chester and Dale Sechler.
She is survived by: her children, Lance Belden (Linda) of Lenexa, KS and Ceanne Yates (Darrell) of Crossville, TN; her grandsons, Brice Belden (Mindy) of Shawnee, KS, Evan Belden of Overland Park, KS, Dr. Andrew Yates of Louisville, KY and Alex Yates of Johnson City, TN; and her great grandchild Jonathan Joseph Belden (JJ) of Shawnee, KS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or to University Heights.
