Vickie Black Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie Black of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Allison and Imogene Allison (Mitchell); her husband Tom Black; her brothers, Mark Allison and Randy Allison; and her sister-in-law Donna Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Jen Black and Mike Black (Marla); her granddaughters, Molly Black and Alanna Black; her brother Tim Allison (Pam); her aunt Gin Ray; and her uncle Don Allison. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and her dear.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Alliance of Southwest Missouri and/or Poinciana Christian Church's Greater Things Campaign in her memory.
