It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Jinks (Joplin, Missouri), born in Grants, New Mexico, who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Lorraine Erstad (Gregory). She is survived by: her father Ken Erstad; her sons, Andrew Jinks (Leah) of Joplin, Christopher Jinks (Shelby) of Diamond, Justin Jinks of Overland Park, KS, Ryan Jinks (Kahla) of Diamond and Carl Quirong (Sanchia) of Bartlesville, OK; her siblings, Lorei Hemberger (Shane) of Coweta, OK, Loren Erstad (Carolyn) and Darren Erstad (Tara) of Claremore, OK; and her grandchildren, Jovie, Sydnee, Annaleigh, Fletcher, Oliver, Nichole, Cassie and Levi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been created in memory of Val for her love of the students at Diamond Schools.
