It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Jones of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Charissa Amber Nolan. He is survived by: his wife Leona Watkins; his children, Steven Jones (Susan) of Carl Junction, Mary Ann Lankford (Gary) of Carl Junction, Thomas Jones of Joplin, Mark Jones of Joplin, Mike Jones of Joplin and Tim Jones (Rachel) of Pittsburg, Kansas; and his siblings, Evelyn Allen, JoAnn McMullen and Jim Jones. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to Central Christian Center in care of the mortuary.
