It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Sargent of Joplin, Missouri, born in Neck City, Missouri, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sargent and Jessie Sargent (Busby); his brothers, Bud Sargent and Dennis Sargent; and his siblings-in-law, Jess Sherwood and Melva Sherwood.

He is survived by: his children, Tonya Davis, Pat, Angela Madison and Virgil Sargent Jr. (Kim); his great great grandchildren, Malachi Madison, Kasondra Stewart, Ryan Stewart, Jeanay Sargent, Matthew Anderson, Zayden Anderson, Katrina Sherwood, Cheyanne Davis, Patrick Davis, Timothy Davis and Kalani Davis; and his siblings, Charles Sargent, David Sargent, Tony Sargent, Charlotte, Anita Sargent, Barry, Deanna Miller, Vaughnda Cook, John, Marvin Sherwood Floyd Sherwood, Sandy, Virginia Sherwood, Virgil Sherwood, Tammy and Earl Sherwood. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
