He is survived by: his pet Tedd; his girlfriend Lana Thoreson; his sons, Jonathan Sabo (Megan) of Joplin and James Sabo (Janelle) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his granddaughters, Claire, Kathryn and Sophia Sabo; his siblings, Susan, Sandy, Richard and Billy; his nephew Chad Thoreson (Lisa); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikayla and Mitchell Thoreson.
In lieu of flowers memorials are being directed to VFW Post 534 in Joplin c/o the mortuary.
