It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Shoptaw of Joplin, Missouri, born in Webb City, Missouri, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Gerald Hulsey and Susan Hulsey (Lauck) of Joplin, MO; her husband Tom Shoptaw of Joplin, MO; her children, Stephanie Benson (Randall) of Kansas City, MO and Chris Shoptaw of Joplin, MO; her brothers, Steven Hulsey (Kim) of Oronogo, MO, Shannon Hulsey (Teri) and Shawn Hulsey of Joplin, MO; and her granddaughters, Katy and Alyssa Benson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Diamond First Baptist Church in care of the mortuary.
