It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Philip Saia of Joplin, Missouri, born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Saia and Marilyn Bavaro Saia; his brother Vincent Saia; and his grandson Dawson Linn. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Dutton of Pittsburg and Lindsay Altheide (Mike Burney) of Joplin, Missouri; his siblings, David Saia (Carolyn Wood) of Arma, Scott Saia (Cheryl) of Joplin, Missouri, Shari Saia of Girard and Mona Miller (John) of Topeka, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Brittney Linn (Devin), Jeremy Dutton, Dylan Altheide, Peyton Altheide, Remi Dutton, Jace Dutton, Easton Burney, Jake Burney and Harper Burney.
