It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Carpenter of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carpenter and Ann Carpenter (Eagles); and his siblings, Frank Carpenter and Marie Good. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Carpenter Joplin (May), Jeff Carpenter Joplin, Carrie McLean Joplin (Frank), Kyliyah Jones (Trey), Cassie Carpenter Neosho, Takiowa Carpenter, Bob Carpenter (Sandy), Anna Nichols (Dave) and Deloris Felker; his grandchildren, Sasha Carpenter, Stephen Carpenter, Genesa Carpenter, Stasia Carpenter, Emily Carpenter, Dillan McLean, Dakota McLean, Trent McLean and Tiffany McLean; and his great grandchildren, Freeman and Lyla.
