He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. McBride and Velma Marie McBride (Cook); and his significant other Rosellen McBride. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Scott and Matt McBride; his grandchildren, Chase McBride and Kimber Scott; and his siblings, Chester McBride (Wanda) of Golden, John McBride (Tina) of Carthage, Missouri and Luetta Sanders of Diamond, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
