It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sol Fowler (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Fowler and Almeda Fowler (Lewis); his wife Dorothy Mae Fowler; his son Orlandus Michael Land; and his siblings, Herman Fowler, Lester Fowler, Eugene Fowler, Harvey Fowler, Laura M. Brown, Martha Hunter, Buletta Fowler, Emma Jean Adams and Mary Logan.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Fowler of Joplin, Mark Fowler of Joplin, Bruce Land (DeAnn) of Joplin, Stephanie Candie of Springfield and Robert Clay (Janice) of Antioch, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Simon Williams, Charolet Williams, Sam Fowler, Mark Fowler, Michael Fowler (Abigail), Mischia Jackson, Leesa Chambers (David, Jr.), Kristian Candie, Malorie Clay and Robbin Clay Hayes; and his brother Alfred "Pete" Fowler. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
