She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd Thompson and Eva Christine Thompson (Taylor); her husband Jay Arnett; her children, Tom Powell (Jan) of Joplin, Deborah Davenport (Darold) of Granby, Beverly Powell of Joplin, Robert Powell (Nannette) of Lee's Summit, MO, Terry Powell of Carthage and Larry Powell of Joplin; and her stepsons, Brian Arnett of Neosho, Lewis Arnett (Tamatha) of Mt. Vernon and Thomas Arnett of South Carolina. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous step grand and great grandchildren.
