It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Chambers of Joplin, Missouri, born in Webb City, Missouri, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Boyd and Helen Lorene Spille (Thomas); and her husband Leo Chambers. She is survived by: her sons, David Chambers (Leona), Glenn Chambers (Lynn), Rodney Chambers (Debbie), Tim Chambers (Lorena) and Kevin Chambers (Penny); and her siblings, Dennis Spille, Lucy Wuellner and Sue Barnett. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Park Plaza Christian Church of Joplin Association for the Blind and my be sent in care of the mortuary.
