It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Kay Jones of Joplin, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Jones and Billie Naoma Jones (Laizure); her grandson Dylan Paugh; and her brother Harold Kenneth Jones. She is survived by: her husband Willis Paugh; her children, Jud Paugh (Lisa) of Carl Junction, MO and Dr. Leslie Hamlett (Sean Hamlett) of Joplin, MO; her sister Sally Bewley of Elkins, AR; and her grandchildren, Megan Paugh, Noah Hamlett and Skylar Hamlett.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
