She is survived by: her children, Madison Love Perkins II of Joplin and Adrianne Octavia Pifer of Marietta; her grandsons, Jasper Pifer of Marietta and Bryson David Pifer of Marietta, Georgia; and her siblings, Daemon Jacobs of Oklahoma, Keaton Forde of California and Diana Tracy of California.

“Sara was a beautiful, fun-loving, creative person, and I had the privilege of being able to call her my dear friend. We studied art therapy together at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We also traveled to Sweden with our colleagues, and we met up in Paris with our husbands. We went sailing, took car trips, train trips, and went to museums and art therapy conferences. I'm so grateful for our many shared experiences. My deepest sympathy to Adrianne, Madison, and all of her family whom she greatly loved..”
