It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samir Fahmy (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Samir departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Samir. Though Samir may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mostafa Fahmy and Clara Manzer Hedwich Jacob; and his son Mahmoud. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Marwa and Yasmine; his grandchildren, Nadia and Zein; and his sisters, Amal, Iman, Mina and Ola.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64802).
