She was predeceased by: her brothers, B. B. West, Tom West, Gene West and Paul David West. She is survived by: her spouse James B. Newberry; her children, Ronald Newberry (Roberta), Danny Newberry (Wanda), Chesapeake, Virginia, Sherry Young (Mike), Phyllis Chastain (Marvin) and Carthage; and her brother Jim West (Shirley). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
