He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kunkler and Ruby Kunkler (Kratz); his former wife Ila Jones (Jean); his wife Jean Kunkler; his children, Judith Sullivan, Raymond Kunkler, Steven Kunkler and Leon Kunkler; and his grandson Blaine Kunkler.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mark Crowl, Gina Giddens, Lenny Kunkler, Trina Kunkler, Damaris Kunkler, Geoff Kunkler and Annie Schroeder; and his daughters-in-law, Shelly Spahn of Grove, OK and Charlene Kunkler of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by 17 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Parker Mortuary (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804).
