With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby S. Finner of Joplin, Missouri, born in Gloster, Louisiana, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gaston and Lottie Gaston (Edmonson); and her siblings, Fred "Hank" Gaston, Marquilla Taylor, Velma Adams and Helen Flowers (Erving).
She is survived by: her husband Leon Finner; her children, Byron Stewart of Menifee, CA, Darla Stewart of Seattle, WA and Tondra Stewart of Marine County, CA; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Stewart of Lake Elsinore, CA; and her siblings, Dorthy Brikhead of Joplin and Auburn England (Robert) of Joplin. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
