With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald R Bassett Sr. of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on January 26, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bassett and Virginia Bassett (Moffet); and his grandchildren, Allison (Mikayla Bassett) and Rick Bassett. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Bassett (Alley) of Joplin, Rob Bassett (Jeni) of Joplin, Vernon Perdew (Brandy) of Joplin, Mike Bassett (Sabrina) of Seattle, WA., Will Fleming (Lori) of Duenweg and Brandi Whittington (Cody) of Joplin; and his sisters, Susan McClure of Ft. Scott, KS. and Nancy Orton (Mike) of Joplin. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
