She was predeceased by: her parents, LeEtta Janice Bird Riddle (Hall) and Virgel O. Bird, Sr. of Chetopa, Kansas.; and her brothers, Virgel O. Bird, Jr. and Christopher Bird. She is survived by: her children, Treada Smidt (Jason) of Asbury, Allan McLean (Kelly) of Joplin, Brandon McLean (Adrian Valentine) of Joplin and Kasey Collins of Joplin; her significant other Robert "Buck" Collins; her siblings, Carolyn Cupp (Jeff) of Sarcoxie, Autumn Evans of Chetopa, Chassity Carpenter (Darrell) of Arkansas, Reneé Wheeler (Shawn), Justin Bird (Theresa DeBoutez) of Chetopa, Marty Bird of Chetopa and Kobi Lawson (Billie) of Chetopa; and her sister-in-law Karen Bird. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
