It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Neal Stafford of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riley Stafford Jr. and Hattie "Narramore" Stafford; his daughter Terry Anne Stafford; his granddaughter Denise Burrus; and his siblings, George "Bill" Stafford, John Stafford and Joyce Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Stafford of Joplin, Bobby Joe Stafford of Joplin, Jon Scott Stafford of Oklahoma, Robert Stafford Jr. of Oklahoma and Tina Stafford (Mike Deivernois); his brothers, Larry Stafford and Loren Stafford (Barbara) of Webb City; and his niece Beth Ann Stafford. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made to the Masonic Lodge #197 Carthage, or Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque local transportation fund of Springfield.
