Rita A. Hitzeman Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita A. Hitzeman in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wesbrooks and Joann Wesbrooks (Leach); and her brother James Wesbrooks (David Hitzeman). She is survived by: her husband David Hitzeman; her sons, Troy Hitzeman (Tammy) of Oklahoma City, OK, Tate Hitzeman of The Colony, TX and Travis Hitzeman (Courtni); her sister Judy Dullea of Broomfield, CO; her sister-in-law Chris Wesbrooks of Augusta, KS; and her grandchildren, Gage, Savannah, Presley, Logan, Reagan, Tucker and Dalton.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 29975 S 566 Rd, Afton, OK 74331. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (146 S Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, OK 74112).
