He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Clay and Christine Walton Sr. (Johnson); his siblings, Gail Hornsby, Jackie Walton and Stephen Walton; and his granddaughter Natalie Hartmann.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Walton of Joplin; his children, Deidre Hartmann (Dennis) of Jackson and Clinton Walton of Carl Junction; his grandchildren, Nathan Hartmann of Jackson, Matthew Hartmann of Jackson, John Hartmann of Jackson, Saige Walton of Carl Junction and Caidyn Walton of Carl Junction; and his siblings, Novara Walton of Lexington, KY and Danny Walton (Gracelyn) of Palos Hills, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Riley to Disabled American Veterans and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
