It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Phipps of Joplin, Missouri, born in Galena, Kansas, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Phipps and Eva Phipps (Webb); his spouse Gaylen Ruth Ryan; and his siblings, Bill and June.

He is survived by: his son Steve Phipps. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
