He was predeceased by: his parents, David Stauffer and Kathleen Stauffer (Ketchum). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hosp; his children, David Stauffer (Alex) of Joplin and Elizabeth Isenberger (Tucker) of Sarcoxie; his grandchildren, Natalie, Taylor, Archer and Lux; and his siblings, Steve Stauffer (Becky) of Joplin, Galen Stauffer (Nancy) of Joplin and Cynthia Stauffer (Steve) of Durham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
