He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Mitchell and Irene Mitchell (Miller); his son Brian Mitchell of Bahama; his sister Joy McCarthy of Helena; and his grandsons, Neal, Jared, Alex and Matthew.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Mitchell; his sons, Daren Mitchell and Scott Mitchell of Houston, TX; and his sister Julia Riell of Livermore, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
