He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Asher and Docia Asher (Robinette); his wife Bobbie Asher; his siblings, Walter Warner Asher, Jr., Allen Dale Asher and Jewel Tarwater; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Jordan and Norman Jansen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Jean Fogarty of Oklahoma, Don Asher (Robin) of Kimberling City, Missouri and Connie Sue Jordan of Joplin, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
