He was predeceased by: his father Richard Eugene Doke; and his aunts and uncles, Jimmie Doke, Lloyd Doke, Lorene Hood, Fern Edwards, Norma Ball, Gene Gourley and Carl Gourley.

He is survived by: his mother Earlene Gourley Doke of Joplin; his brother Gary Doke (Pam) of Joplin; his niece Stacey Hensley of Carl Junction; his nephew Darren Doke of Galena, Kansas; his uncle Dean Gourley; his aunts, Leeanne Doke and Edna Doke; and his cousins, Sherwood Doke, Marvin Doke, Neal Ball, Rita Breen, Les Ball, Janice Ball, Debbie Brown and Paul Gourley. He is also survived by other extended family, and a host of friends.
