It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Schlau (Joplin, Missouri), born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvir William and Antoinette Schlau (Zdancewicz); and his children, Bill and Karyn Schlau. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Schlau (Andidora) of Joplin; his stepson Dan Guarino (Tricia) of Oronogo; and his siblings, Tom Webber of Rockford, MN, Joe Schlau of Schoenberg, IL, Diane Eden of Az and Kim Waltman of Nashville, TN..
To continue his work in rescuing animals in the community, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Golden Paw Rescue and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
