She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Alan Reaves and Sarah "Allie" England Reaves; her husband Rev. Edwin H. "Bud" Esmond; her siblings, Marvin Reaves, Maurice "Red" Reaves, Mildred Ussery, Genevieve Lacy and Mary Jo Reaves; and her nephew Maurice A. "Junie" Reaves, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Daryl Ann Esmond-Anderson (Deon) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Troy Fowler (Shawn) of Joplin and Tristan Fowler of Columbia, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Matèa Fowler of Joplin, Nina Fowler of Joplin, Donovyn Fowler of Joplin and TàLynn Phillips of Joplin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
