He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Starchman and Charlotte L. Starchman; his brother John L. Starchman; his nephew Joseph Ross Starchman; and his sister-in-law Ruth L. Starchman.
He is survived by: his brother David Starchman of Joplin; his sister-in-law Judy Starchman of Cassville; his nephew Brian Starchman (Jennifer) of Joplin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew Coleman and Abby Stewart (Mark); his nephew John Ryan Starchman (Jennifer); his niece Janelle Hurn (Ryan) of Springfield; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alannah Rose, Alyssa Jo and Ryan Starchman; his cousins, Barbary Fohey (Paul), Ruth, Neil Gilstrap, Ellen, Chuck Phillips, Sandra and Randy Smith; and also, Lliana of Carl Junction, Carly of Webb City and Megan McQueen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
