He is survived by: his spouse Sherry York; his sons, Shane Peterson (Shawn) of Joplin, Scott Redfern-Peterson (Chuck) of Joplin and Brian Peterson (Sarah) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Mitchell Peterson, Russell Peterson, Riley Peterson, Lauren Peterson, Emily Trejo and Elliott Kersh; and his great grandchild Addi Peterson.
