She is survived by: her husband John Hughes; her daughter Jeanie Deremo (Randy) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Zachery Williams, Robert Ray Black and Lauren Hegedorn; and her brother Paul Larson (Phillis) of Carthage, Missouri.
