She was predeceased by: her father Billy Earl Hankins; her stepfather Albert Hayter; and her sibling Dana Dean. She is survived by: her mother Bonnie Nichols; and her siblings, Donald Eugene, Connie Cook of Webb City, David E. Hankins (Beverly) of Joplin and Julie White (Bill) of Clever, MO..

In lieu of flowers and cards, the family is requesting memorial donations be made to the Forrest Park Baptist Church of Joplin and Mission Joplin.
