It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Coons of Joplin, Missouri, born in Midland, Arkansas, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Coons and Melvina Moody Coons; and his siblings, Claudine Bates, Harold Coons and Carl Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Jean Rains. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and the wonderful friends.
