She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Middleton and Iva Middleton; her husband John Hirshey; and her siblings, Don, Bob, Mike, Buddy Middleton and Juanita Martin (Middleton).
She is survived by: her sisters, Helen Cupp and Eva May Williams; her children, John Hirshey, Jr., Karen Cole (Dennis) and Joy Cole (Steve); her grandchildren, Derek Cole (Summer), Jeff Cole, Heather Walther (Chip), Kristen Teeter (Jason) and Amber Vigueria (Joe); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Berry, Emily Cole, Jenna Teeter, Lily Walther, Owen Walther, Zachery Teeter, Isabelle Vigueria, Annie Vigueria, Lucas Teeter and Luke Vigueria.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in care of the mortuary.
