He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Rohmiller and Martha Rohmiller (Uhl); his wife Lavenia B. Griffith; and his siblings, Frank, Andrew, Henry, Clarence, Harold, John, Anna Shields, Esther Lester and Evelyn Parks.

He is survived by: his children, Ron (Mandy), Reed (Annie) and Tracy (Chris Detherage); his grandchildren, J. R. Rohmiller (Mary), Emily Romeu and Travis Detherage; and his great grandchildren, Zach and Lucy Rohmiller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
