It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Lorraine Nelson (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Carlene Dyer; and her siblings, Shirley Gamble, Pauline Eggensperger, Wilma Cantrell and Judith Elliott.
She is survived by: her husband Carl L. Nelson; her children, Vallen L. Nelson (Katharine) of Joplin and Christina L. Beaver (Alan) of Anderson; and her siblings, Orland Gust of Joplin, Marcia Foster of Joplin and Linda Williams. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
The family has directed memorial contribution to the Ronald McDonald House, in care of the funeral home.
