It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Glen McClure in Joplin, Missouri, born in Neosho, Missouri, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McClure and Mona McClure (White); his wife Daphnea McClure; and his brothers, Billy McClure and Jack McClure.
He is survived by: his children, Mike McClure (Melissa), David Sowersby (Traci) and Cindy Wooden (Larry); his grandchildren, Kerstand Tatum (Jason), Dustin Wooden, Jessica Nielson (Chris Blackwell), Jeffrey Rogers (Jacqueline), Ashley Eichman, Nathan Sowersby (Elizabeth), Raelynne Moran (Aaron), Ethan Sowersby, Hayden McClure, Courtney Shepherd (Luke) and Ryan Hunt (Kelcie); his close friend Lisa Simpson; and his pet Mack. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
